I am part of several groups at U3A Ballarat that drive to various locations. I have noticed that there is a lack of knowledge of the simple basics of driving in convoy.
1. Form up your vehicles in a line before leaving.
2. Each driver should take careful note of the vehicle they are following and the vehicle following them.
3. Each driver is responsible for the vehicle BEHIND them.
4. If the vehicle behind you is held up at at traffic lights or having to give way at an intersection, you should slow down, and if necessary stop until the vehicle behind is back in convoy.
5. It is important to stay in the original order.
6. If every driver follows the above rules, no-one should get lost.
